Eco Grout is essentially the "pore filler" for concrete. It is a specialised liquid that you mix with concrete dust to patch up the tiny holes and cracks that appear during the polishing process, leaving you with a surface that is perfectly smooth and professional.
Why Use Eco Grout?
Fill Pin Holes and Air Pockets: A specialised "pore filler" that effectively plugs pinholes, air pockets and fine cracks that typically emerge during the concrete polishing process. By mixing the liquid with concrete dust, it creates a seamless repair that makes surface imperfections disappear, leaving a perfectly smooth and professional finish.
Zero Shrinkage: A standout feature for contractors is its "zero shrinkage" formulation, ensuring that once a hole is filled, the material stays in place without falling out or receding as it dries. This reliability eliminates the common frustration of grout "popping out" over time, providing a permanent repair for both interior and exterior concrete.
Outstanding Adhesion: Formulated with a unique acrylic resin, Eco Grout ensures tenacious adhesion to the concrete substrate by effectively bonding with both the surface and cement dust. This advanced composition creates a durable, uniform bond that prevents repairs from failing under mechanical pressure or during subsequent polishing stages.
Superior Flexibility: The treatment toughens the floor’s surface to significantly reduce dusting and chalking, leading to a more resilient finished floor. This enhanced durability keeps the environment cleaner and extends the life of the concrete, ensuring a high-performance surface that maintains its integrity in high-traffic areas.
Fast & Easy: It is designed to dry quickly and apply easily, helping you move through the polishing stages without long delays.
Safe for You: It is water-based and has almost no odour, making it much more pleasant to work with than traditional chemical fillers.
How to Use It
The process is straightforward and can be done in two ways:
The Mix: Start by mixing 1 part Eco Grout with 1 part water.
The Filler: You can either mix the liquid with cement dust to create a paste and spread it with a trowel , or spray the liquid onto the floor and grind the dust right into the holes using your polishing machine.
The Clean-up: Once dry, simply grind off any excess to reveal your smooth, repaired surface.
Quick Facts
Coverage: 1 litre of the mix covers about 5–7 square metres.
Appearance: Looks like a milky white liquid in the bottle but becomes part of your concrete floor.
Temperature Tip: For the best results, avoid applying it if the temperature is over 30°C.
